7th Annual KMJ SC WARRIOR WALK

THANK YOU FOR COMING

As a SCAASF committee member and founder of the Billie Durley Sickle Cell Awareness Foundation (BDSCAF), Al Turner joins forces with NeDina Brocks for SCAASF's annual walk, to promote advocacy for sickle cell patients and families. BDSCAF was formed in honor of Al's brother, Billie.

BDSCAF has been participating in the annual walk for the past 3 years, by adding several classic cars to the event. BDSCAF has classic cars from throughout the Bay Area to support and provide rides alongside the walk for the sickle cell community.

Al’s brother, Billie Durley, had a passion for classic cars. Both him and Al started the customization of his 1972 Buick Skylark prior to him passing in 2015, due to SC complications.

In Billie’s honor and in support of the SCAASF annual walk, NeDina and Al incorporated Billie’s classic beauty along with others to become symbolic fixtures in this great cause. Please be sure to come out on September 12, 2020
